Iraq CPM is the national platform that lets every Iraqi university host its own academic conferences, manage paper submissions, run peer review, and publish decisions — all in one place. It's used by professors, researchers, students, and university administrators across the country.

Same person, multiple roles: You can be an Author in one conference and an Editor in another. You can even be both Author and Editor in the same conference — the platform handles that with a role-picker on login.

Two ways to reach a specific conference — pick whichever feels natural. Both end at the same place.

Tip: If someone shared a direct conference URL with you (like a call-for-papers email), you can also paste it directly. URLs look like cpm.hu.edu.iq/cpm.php/your-uni/123456.

Accounts are per-conference — register fresh for each conference you submit to. Same email is fine across conferences.

About ORCID: ORCID is your unique "academic ID" — a free, permanent identifier that links your work across journals and platforms. Required for all authors. If you don't have one, get it in 30 seconds at orcid.org/register.

From your author dashboard, click Submit New Paper and fill in the details. The form takes about 5 minutes if you have your PDF ready.

Tracking your paper: After submission, your dashboard shows the status in real time — Under Review → Reviews in Progress → Decision Pending → Accept / Minor / Major / Reject. You get an email at every status change.
متابعة بحثك: بعد التقديم، تعرض لوحتك الحالة لحظيًا — قيد التحكيم ← تحكيم جارٍ ← القرار قيد الإعداد ← قبول / طفيفة / جوهرية / رفض. تصلك رسالة عند كل تغيُّر في الحالة.
When an editor assigns you a paper, you get an email. Log in as Reviewer, open the paper, and fill the structured review form.
عندما يسنِد إليك المحرِّر بحثًا، تصلك رسالة. سجِّل دخولك كمحكِّم، افتح البحث، واملأ استمارة التحكيم المنظَّمة.
Five criteria, one recommendation: Score each criterion (0–10), then pick one of Accept / Minor Revisions / Major Revisions / Reject. Write comments separately for the editor (private) and the author (public).
خمسة معايير، توصية واحدة: قيِّم كل معيار (0–10)، ثم اختر من قبول / طفيفة / جوهرية / رفض. اكتب تعليقات منفصلة للمحرِّر (سرية) وللمؤلف (علنية).
Editors handle the workflow between authors and reviewers. You assign reviewers, wait for their reviews, then write a decision.
المحرِّروان يديرون سير العمل بين المؤلفين والمحكِّمين. تسنِد المحكِّمين، تنتظر تحكيماتهم، ثم تكتب القرار.
Rule of thumb: Two reviewers minimum, three is the gold standard. If two disagree sharply, a third breaks the tie.
قاعدة عامة: اثنان حد أدنى، ثلاثة معيار ذهبي. إذا اختلف اثنان بشدة، الثالث يفصل.
If you represent an Iraqi university and want to host academic conferences on the platform, you'll register once and then create as many conferences as you need.
إذا كنت تمثل جامعة عراقية وترغب في استضافة مؤتمرات أكاديمية على المنصة، ستسجِّل مرة واحدة ثم تنشئ ما تحتاجه من مؤتمرات.
/cpm.php/ar/your-slug) before clicking Create Conference. To create an English one, use /cpm.php/your-slug. The conference language cannot be changed after creation.

Your private space: Once approved, your university gets a unique URL like cpm.hu.edu.iq/cpm.php/your-university. Everything you create — conferences, papers, accounts — lives in your space, isolated from other universities.

One admin per university: The institutional contact email is the admin login. Share it securely with backup staff if needed — multi-admin support isn't available yet.

Passwords hashed with bcrypt. Emails never shared across conferences. Paper PDFs accessible only to authorized people.

Reviewer identity is hidden from authors permanently. Optional double-blind hides author identity from reviewers too.
